Makati is the business center of Manila. We went to Greenbelt Shopping Center
here and found why it has it's name! It is beautiful and green, right in the middle of
many highrise businesses.
There is a church in the middle of the shopping center with gold fish and turtles
swimming all around it.
We finally found some carabao that we could get close to. We would love to
take a statue like this home with us - just a much smaller size!!!
Whoa, Boy!
This was another great sculpture! The catamaran has fish made from all
kinds of wood. It was awesome!!!
There were many very nice restaurants in the Mall. "Oh so sweet!"
Fun morning with Elder and Sis. Bailey at Greenbelt!
We went to the Presidential Office building to take a birthday token to Pres. Aquino.
We didn't get past security but they did let us take a picture of the building.
The office building is right next to the Malacanan Palace. It was heavily guarded
and even the gates were covered. They did let us take this quick picture at the one
gate that was open!
